Cinco de Mayo Celebration: Chili, Cars, & Cervezas

The Tri-County Fairgrounds is bringing the heat for Cinco de Mayo with chili, cars, and cervezas! This International Chili Society World Qualifier Cook-Off is a community celebration with a kick. The free-to-attend event features world champion chili, 25 different craft beers, live music, a car show, swap meet, and Kids Zone.

CHSRA State Finals

The California High School Rodeo State Finals Championship is held in June at the Tri-County Fairgrounds. The community of Bishop prioritizes the safety and health of these champions. About 300 members of the California High School Rodeo Association (CHSRA), will be roping, riding, tying, racing, buckin', cuttin', and having the time of their lives, at the Eastern Sierra Tri-County Fairgrounds in Bishop, California, for the CHSRA State Finals!

The Eastern Sierra Tri-County Fair Junior Livestock Program offers the youth of our community a quality, hands-on educational program. Our local youth learn “real world skills” including organization, financial management, responsibility, sportsmanship, teamwork, citizenship, and most importantly, positive work ethic. These youth are our future leaders.
