Bad Moon Rising

Bad Moon Rising began in 2008, after lead guitar player, Steve Combs,attended a live concert featuring the legendary John Fogerty. Steve decided to share his love of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s music, creativity, and idealism. He then formed a band with likeminded individuals who also shared the passion to keep the music alive.

Like the original CCR, Bad Moon Rising is a four-piece band, taking great pride in making their songs sound like the original recordings. They make use of a square-neck dobro for ‘Looking Out My Backdoor’, an electric piano for ‘Long As I Can See The Light’, and a Hammond Organ for ‘Have You Ever Seen The Rain’, among other nods to the originals.

Singer/songwriter, actress and entrepreneur Lea Sweet, native of San Francisco with family roots from Macon, GA and Calvert, TX starting singing as young as 6 years old.  Inspired to become an entertainer by attending Ike and Tina Turner concert when she was 6 years old, Lea went on to write and produce several albums (I’m Taking Applications, Black Queen of Country Music, Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas) having sold out concerts throughout California and concert tours in Austria, China, Netherlands, Portugal, Venezuela and Malta along with legendary Jimi Jamison (Eye of the Tiger), Loverboy Mike Reno, John Cafferty, Bobby Kimball (Toto), James Brown Band, Stevie Wonder, Bobbie Blue Bland, John Legend, and more.
