The FAIR theme poster contest
Calling all artists young and young at heart! We want you to create the official poster for the 2025 Tri-County Fair. This is the perfect opportunity to showcase your artistic talent. Express your creativity and community pride by designing a poster that brings this year’s theme—“Carnival Lights and Mountain Nights”—to life.
Thecontest is for kids and adults! Whether you’re a seasoned artist, a hobbyist, or just love getting creative, this is your chance to be a part of fair history. Teachers, we encourage you to get your classrooms involved!
Incorporate the Fair’s vibrant energy, stunning mountain scenery, and dazzling carnival atmosphere into your designs for a chance to have your artwork featured in official Fair promotions! Plus, winners will receive awesome prizes and bragging rights!

THE RULES
- Poster MUST include mountains
- Posters MUST include a carnival aspect
- Posters MUST include the fair theme title – “Carnival Lights & Mountain Nights”
- Posters MUST be 8.5”Wx11”H
- Posters MUST be submitted to [email protected] or in person at the Fair office by April 15th, 2025
- Posters MUST be an original piece. *No Ai, copied, or traced artwork allowed*
PRIZES
PRIZES IN EACH DIVISION & EACH CATEGORY
- The overall poster winner in each division will be used as a premium book cover for the 2025 Tri-County Fair

JUDGING
The winning posters will be chosen by the Inyo County Council for the Arts and a Tri-County Fairgrounds committee.
*Artwork Ownership – By entering, participants agree that winning designs may be used by the Tri-County Fair for promotional purposes.
*Disqualification Clause – Any poster deemed offensive, inappropriate, or unrelated to the theme will be disqualified.
