CHILI, CARS & CERVEZAS PLUS MONSTER TRUCKS
The Tri-County Fairgrounds is bringing the heat for Cinco de Mayo with chili, cars, and cervezas PLUS NEW IN 2024 Monster Trucks! This International Chili Society World Qualifier Cook-Off is a community celebration with a kick. The event features world champion chili, 25 different craft beers, live music, a car show, swap meet, a Kids Zone, and a Monster Truck Rally. This Cinco de Mayo celebration is going to be fire!

Get your sampling kits for a hearty tasting experience! Some of the best chili cooks in the West are serving up their most flavorful red, verde, and homestyle chilis and salsas. They’re competing for their shot at the ICS World Championships and your vote for the highly coveted People’s Choice Award!

Wash down those savory samples with a flight of craft beer. The Craft Beer Experience is a customizable tour with 25 award-winning and local favorites on tap for you to sip and sample. Because nothing goes better with chili than an ice, cold beer.

Rev up your Cinco De Mayo celebration with jaw-dropping stunts, gravity-defying jumps, and awe-inspiring feats of strength at the Monster Truck Rally! The rally features an impressive lineup of Monster Trucks, a FMX halftime show, and a pit party with Extinguisher Truck rides, driver and FMX rider autographs and photo ops, and a happy hour featuring Farmer’s Brewing Co!

The car show features all makes, models, years, motorcycles, and tractors! Awards will be given out for Best of Show, Best Paint, Best Engine, Best Interior, Oddest Entry, Best Work in Progress + more fun surprises.

Go treasure hunting at the Eastern Sierra’s biggest bi-annual (May and October) yard sale at the Tri-County Fairgrounds. Admission is $5 per adult and paid at the event. All proceeds benefit the Laws Railroad Museum.
